Service Visit Information

For the safety of you and our employees, Atlanta Gas Light requires a customer or authorized representative, 18 years of age or older, must be present when our field service representatives enter your home or business to perform work and safety checks.

Pets should be safely secured away so as to not interfere with field technicians inspection of your gas meter, all appliances (both electric and gas), and any gas lines. Clear and safe access to all appliances is required. You can prepare by taking the following steps prior to a technician arriving:

• Unlocked attics and crawl spaces
• Sufficient clearance around appliances and the meter that will permit a thorough inspection
• Safe ladder access to elevated areas where appliances are located
