Atlanta Gas Light Foundation's $1 million donation vital to the American Red Cross’ CAP program

Serena Levy, president, Atlanta Gas Light Foundation and vice president, Corporate Impact, Southern Company Gas, and Craig McGalliard, region director, Southeast Georgia, Atlanta Gas Light, share how the foundation’s $1 million donation to the American Red Cross’ Community Adaptation Program will provide vital resources to residents in Chatham County, Georgia.

CAP focuses on developing hyper-local partnerships to build more resilient communities and mitigate the impact of disaster-caused displacement on our most vulnerable. Chatham County is 99% more susceptible to the adverse, long-term impacts of natural disasters than anywhere in the country. Helping prepare communities to recover from natural disasters and achieve stability and economic success is a part of our mission to be a citizen where we serve.
