For customers affected by the recent tornados in Clayton County:

• Atlanta Gas Light crews worked with local emergency officials in Rex, GA to shut-off gas to homes damaged by the tornado.
• Our distribution crews were in the area checking for any leaks that may have been caused by the damage, and made the necessary repairs.
• Our Macon office with help from Milledgeville and Eastman also worked with Bibb County emergency officials and responded to over 100 leak calls on Sunday.
• For our customers safety we ask that they do not attempt to restore service to their natural gas appliances themselves. They should wait for an Atlanta Gas Light technician to check and re-light their appliances.
• If you suspect a gas leak, you should call our 24-hour emergency line 1-877-427-4321.
• If your service has been disconnected and you wish to reconnect, please contact your marketer.
